Gladys & Roland Harriman Society

Roland Harriman is considered the architect of the modern American Red Cross. His wife, Gladys, served as a Red Cross volunteer and official for more than 40 years. Together, they created a legacy through humanitarian and philanthropic support to help ensure that the Red Cross would always be there when disaster strikes.

Dedicated donors of $1,000 or more in cash or stock are invited to join the Gladys & Roland Harriman Society in recognition of their commitment to our mission and their willingness to help underwrite our work in Greater New York.
