The American Red Cross in Greater New York is responding to a flash flood emergency that occurred on Tuesday, June 19 on the Delaware and Sullivan County border along Route 206. An unconfirmed number of homes have been evacuated or damaged. More than 20 Red Cross volunteers and employees have been deployed to the area, helping their neighbors in need. Working closely with local government agencies and supporting emergency responders at the scene, Chapter relief workers will continue to support individuals and families affected by the flood, as well as all first responders contributing to the effort.
