The ARC/GNY Queens Area Office presented the one-hour special presentation Red Cross Here & Now for Queens residents and businesses on Tuesday, September 25, at the offices of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in Kew Gardens. The presentation was attended by representatives of local businesses, government agencies and faith based organizations.

Chapter volunteers and staff explained their passion and experiences helping New Yorkers prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Attendees also learned about safety and preparedness classes, community programs and volunteer opportunities.
