Theresa A. Bischoff Named a 2007 Star
December 6, 2007

CEO Theresa A. Bischoff has been named a 2007 Star by the New York Women's Agenda. Terry received the prestigious award, which acknowledges the accomplishments of outstanding women in New York City, at a December 4th breakfast attended by 1,000 business, government and civic leaders at the New York Hilton.

Broadcast journalists Roz Abrams and Brenda Blackmon served as hosts and Silda Wall Spitzer, Chair of the Board of Children for Children, congratulated the Stars on their service to the people of New York.

In her remarks, Terry emphasized the importance of volunteering, showed a brief video featuring our Chapter volunteers, and urged all attendees to consider joining the Red Cross as volunteers.

The New York Women's Agenda is a coalition of over 100 diverse women’s organizations dedicated to making New York a better place for women and children through a variety of education related initiatives to promote literacy, financial literacy and combat domestic violence.
