New York State Assembly Member Greg Ball recently presented the Chapter with a $10,000 grant to help the organization install new computers at its Putnam County office (The Lawlor Building, Route 311 and 164, Patterson) and provide additional emergency preparedness presentations for residents and organizations throughout the county. Mr. Ball, who oversees District 99, which includes Patterson, Carmel and Southeast, presented the funding to Michelle Strom, director, ARC/GNY - Putnam/West Point, and Community Development Associate Stephanie Schanen-Skimmyhorn.
