Mayor Bloomberg, Judge Fusco Among Those Honored at Staten Island Centennial Dinner
September 30, 2005

The Red Cross Staten Island area office held its Annual Chrysanthemum Ball celebrating the Centennial of the American Red Cross in Greater New York at the Richmond County Country Club on September 30, 2005 . Honorees were Mayor Michael M. Bloomberg, the Honorable John Fusco, Charles DeStefano, Dr. Ann Merlino and Josephine Landes, in memoriam. The Mayor was cited for his steadfast support of the Red Cross. Judge Fusco used Red Cross CPR training to save a woman’s life. Among the 200 attendees were Assemblyman Matthew Mirones and Public Administrator Gary Gotlin.
