President Bush Honors Local Volunteer

American Red Cross in Greater New York Volunteer, James Shevlin was selected as the Official Freedom Corps Greeter from numerous other entries from volunteer and non-profit organizations across the New York City Area dedicated to helping others. James met the President on the tarmac at the foot of Air Force One, spoke briefly with him, and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, including a pin and certificate in honor of his commitment to others.
